Please Let Me Be Pretentious For A Moment...

Excuse me while a boast for a moment, but I am really proud of myself! As long as I've been employed with a local municipality I have been working on one certification or another. First it was my state certification which consisted of four courses each taking approximatley 50 hours to complete; eight seminars; and four exams. The second was my state court certification which consisted of 40 hours of seminars; homework; and a test. I am almost finished with my second level of my court certification. Now I have just completed my international certification (which is, generally speaking, harder to get than a bachelors). While there are a few people in my state that have the first two certifications, I believe I am the only one that has the state, court and international. These certifications are more sought after than a bachelor's degree in my line of work, and they come with initials too!
So I look really pretentious now!

2=R

4=C
**Note I used numbers instead of initials so that they wouldn't come up in an internet search. I really don't want my personal life brought into my professional life. If you are curious, just match the letters to the numbers.

It's always a good feeling to accomplish whatever it is to accompish to have letters after your name...even if you have to transcribe numbers to them! Very nice.

I'm proud of you and you have every right to be proud of what you've accomplished.
