J Goes to Preschool

Today was J's first day at preschool/daycare. I was a little apprehensive because this was the first time that any of my kids have been to an actual daycare. I feel very fortunate that P & E never had to go, although P did go to a morning preschool class. J is now a little past 4, so one year of daycare won't hurt him and, with my current situation I have no choice. Initially I was really worried about how he was going to do, but soon it became clear that it was affecting me much more than it was affecting him, as is usual in situations such as these.

It's hard watching your baby turn into a boy. It sucks and it's exciting all at the same time!
