Asterisks....
So my 1/18 post talked about my problems that I am having attempting to get E MHMR services and his IQ test. The school district decided to administer and IQ equivalancy test since they were unable to perform the actual IQ test. The results were sent home with E on Friday. The IQ scale for this particular test ranges from 40 to 140. In the area where the composite score is supposed to be were two asterisks (**). The note below said this:
Warning: ** The General Development score cannot be calculated because one or more of the scales is out of the score range.
On the graph that indicates his scores in all of the 6 areas between 40 and 140 he is a straight line at the very bottom.
Hmmmm....well, it's not too often that you actually have proof that your child is off the charts.
It's a shame that they don't have a test to measure great laughs. If they did he would be off the charts...in the other direction.
Now I really don't know what MHMR will do...they've been obsessed about having "the number". I guess we shall see!

Not everyone fits on a chart, I guess. It WILL be interesting now that they failed at getting a number for him and they are so obsessed with assigning one! Keep updating us!
