Been busy...

So I've been pretty busy the last week or so (actually mainly sick) hence the no posting. Right now I'm on my THIRD round of antibiotics to kick this nasty bought of bronchitis that I have had since October 28th! I think this one is finally working. In that short month, P & J have had eight ear infections, several sore throats and bronchitis between the two of them. All in all the three of us have been on six different antibiotics in the last five weeks, not to mention the numerous cough medicines, inhalers, breathing treatments, motrin, tylenol, musinex (that stuffs expensive!), ear drops, etc. We all have pretty decent insurance, but last night I was looking at my monthly budget and I've spent well over $500 this month in doctors and medicine. Ugh!!!

On a brighter note...I purchased a brand new '07 Hyundai Entourage - Cranberry Red - the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I have never had a brand new car, so it's pretty exciting. I think I got a pretty good deal (about $3,000 under invoice and $6,500 under MSRP). I got some neat extras with it (heated seats and a computer that calculates your gas mileage and how many more miles you can drive on your tank of gas are my favorite). The kids were kind of disappointed that I didn't get the DVD player, but it's hard to justify spending nearly $3,000 on something that you can get bigger and better after-market for much cheaper.

Just a note...it may be a while before I post again. Finals are coming up and I desperately need to study...I haven't been doing much of that with how I've been feeling
