Again (you're like the 20th blogger to post this)...
...moms think this is funny, and for some reason, I think I'm the only person on the planet that it grates like fingernails on a chalkboard.
Those of us males who had moms that nagged us...and I mean NAGGED US...it's a reminder of the things we liked least about our moms.
Well, Brent, I'm sorry for not being more original in my postings. I love it! I suppose I am one of the fortunate ones that didn't have a nagging mom.
Kristi, I wasn't saying you were unoriginal in your postings because I was referring to me posting the same thing on each one of them! I'm the unoriginal one!
But, I do think that there's a very natural consequence to what moms say and what their children hear. And, sometimes, that consequence would break the mom's heart if she knew what those words did to the kid's spirit.
And, trust me, I do get why so many people think it's funny. It's simply that I don't. Then again, I think the Three Stooges are funny, so what do I know?
